Composite reflectivity is from National Weather Service Doppler radar located in northeast Pueblo County, Colorado. During this time period, the radar was operating in Volume Coverage Pattern 12 (VCP-12), which takes about 4 minutes and 23 seconds to complete a volume scan. In the images below, the "time stamp" on the composite radar data marks the time when the VCP began. The time stamps on the 1 minute lightning plots indicate the lightning activity which occurred 1 minute prior to the time stamp. NOTE: The brighter white "-" and "+" identify the locations of negative and positive cloud to ground lightning flashes. the grey "+" just to the upper left of the city locations mark the location of the towns and cities on the images.
