Mid December Snow Storm Recap
December 15. 2003 - A strong and
moist westerly flow brought an onslaught of snowfall to the western
mountains of Wyoming from Friday, December 12th through Sunday, December
14th. Around two feet of snow fell over the Teton Range and
southwest end of Yellowstone National Park. This new snowfall
fell on top of over a foot of snow that accumulated on the Teton peaks
earlier in the week.
