Strong Winds Affect Northern Wyoming

December 11th, 2004 - Strong winds near mountain top level descended the eastern slopes of the Absaroka Mountains impacting portions of northern Big Horn Basin, including the cities of Cody, Clark, and Powell.  In addition, strong winds also affected southern Fremont County and southwest Natrona County.  The following statement reflects wind reports received by the National Weather Service Office in Riverton, Wyoming.
