July 2011 continued the trend of from June with hot and dry conditions over much of the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas. Many locations were in the top 10 warmest months on record and lowest precipitation on record. Little in the way of rainfall occured during the month. The wettest locations were across portions of central and southcentral Missouri. (See normal departure maps link above).
