...EF-0 TORNADO DAMAGE FOUND IN WEBSTER COUNTY...

A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM SURVEY REVEALED THAT AN EF-0
TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN 2.7 MILES NORTH OF ROGERSVILLE...AND TRACKED
NORTHEAST BEFORE LIFTING 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF FORDLAND. DAMAGE
OCCURRED MAINLY TO OUTBUILDINGS AND TREES.

THE WIND SPEED WAS ESTIMATED AT 70 TO 80 MPH. PATH WIDTH WAS
APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS. THE PATH LENGTH WAS 6 MILES.

BEGINNING POINT WAS ALONG LON ROAD...JUST SOUTH OF ITS
INTERSECTION WITH BOBCAT ROAD. THE ENDING POINT WAS IN A FIELD
JUST NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY KK AND PLEASANT
GROVE ROAD.
