Storm Event Summary

The second winter storm within a week brought significant to heavy snowfall to portions of southeastern Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks Monday evening into Tuesday morning.  Snow accumulations were quite variable but generally ranged from 1 to 4 inches along the Interstate 44 corridor with 6 to 10 inches farther north generally north of a Pittsburg Kansas to Bolivar and Eldon Missouri line.  Below is a preliminary snow accumulation map. These maps will be updated as data becomes available and plotted.
