WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.
  ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND
  EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS FROM LATE MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON
  IN ADVANCE OF THE NEXT COLD FRONT. SOUTH WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 35
  MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE LATER TODAY.

  THE GUSTY WIND WILL COMBINE WITH UNSEASONABLY WARM TEMPERATURES
  AND LOW AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS TO PRODUCE AN
  ELEVATED DANGER FOR FAST SPREADING OUTDOOR FIRES OVER WESTERN
  MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

  A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA THIS WEEKEND BRINGING
  A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW TO SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI
  OZARKS. THE BEST CHANCE FOR ANY LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
  SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.
