OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
  LIMITED SNOW AND SLEET RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  LIGHT SLEET...SNOW...AND FREEZING RAIN SHOWERS WILL PERSIST
  EARLY THIS AFTERNOON NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR.
  ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FROM A DUSTING UP TO A HALF
  INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE HIGHWAY 54
  CORRIDOR. MINOR ACCUMULATIONS OF SLEET ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.
  ANY ADDITIONAL ICE ACCUMULATION DUE TO FREEZING RAIN WOULD
  BE VERY MINOR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

  A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY.
  NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

  LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY BEHIND
  A STRONG COLD FRONT. GUSTY SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL OCCUR
  TUESDAY AHEAD OF THE FRONT...WITH GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS
  OCCURRING BEHIND THE FRONT TUESDAY NIGHT.

  WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE BY
  WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY MORNING.
