...July 2009 Climate Summary...

July 2009 can be categorized as one of the coolest July's on record as all 4 ASOS stations within the region were within the top 10 coolest July's.  Much of July was dominated by a northwest flow in the upper atmosphere which brought showers and thunderstorms every couple to few days along with a cooler air mass behind the front.  Many record lows occurred during the month and several record lowest daily high temperatures.
