...June 2009 Climate Summary...

The month of June 2009 was much warmer than normal for all of the Missouri Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.  Portion of central Missouri experienced the most rain and were above normal for the month, while elsewhere slightly below monthly totals occurred.

The main weather events from the month were the heat wave from around the 17th through the 27th and the severe storms from the 10th.
