The National Weather Service Springfield Office will be hosting an open house on September 27, 2014 to mark the 20 year anniversary at its current location.

Attendance is FREE and open to the public. However, attendees will have the opportunity to give back to the community by donating canned goods. We will be hosting a food drive for the Ozarks Food Harvest. September is Hunger Action Month and volunteers with the Ozarks Food Harvest will be here collecting food donations. We are asking everyone to bring a food donation and help out our friends with the Ozarks Food Harvest. Click here for a list of items in most need at the Ozarks Food Harvest.
