LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS WILL DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

FRIDAY...WINDY. SOUTHWEST WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH WILL BECOME
COMMON ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THIS WILL CREATE
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR THE PARADOX VALLEY AND LOWER
DOLORES RIVER VALLEY...AND THE DELTA...MONTROSE AND SURROUNDING
AREAS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE

THIS WEEKEND...A POTENTIALLY STRONG SPRING STORM WILL BRING
GUSTY WINDS...RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW TO THE REGION. ISOLATED
THUNDESTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY. SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS

A STRONG LATE SEASON WINTRY STORM WILL BRING STRONG WINDS AND
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS TO THE REGION THIS WEEKEND. SOUTHWEST WINDS
WILL BECOME GUSTY FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. MOISTURE INCREASES OVER
THE FORECAST AREA FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY. COLDER UNSETTLED AIR
ON SATURDAY BRINGS INCREASING SHOWERS WITH LATE-DAY THUNDERSTORMS
POSSIBLE. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED IN THE HIGHER
MOUNTAINS ON SATURDAY.

SNOW LEVELS PLUMMET SATURDAY EVENING WHEN A STRONG COLD FRONT
SWEEPS THROUGH THE REGION. SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE OVER MOST
MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS AND POSSIBLY INTO THE HIGHER VALLEYS. SNOW
SHOWERS MAY LINGER IN THE COLORADO MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS INTO
MONDAY.

TRAVEL THIS WEEKEND MAY BECOME DIFFICULT THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS
AND POSSIBLY EVEN HIGHER VALLEY LOCATIONS DUE TO ACCUMULATING SNOW
