THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION
TODAY WITH AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF THE I-70 CORRIDOR FAVORED.
SOME STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN...POSSIBLY
LEADING TO LOCALIZED MUD OR DEBRIS FLOWS ACROSS BURN SCARS AND IN
STEEP TERRAIN. COOLER AIR ASSOCIATED WITH THE SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE
FOR THE WET CONDITIONS WILL ALLOW SOME SNOW TO ACCUMULATE IN THE
MOUNTAINS ABOVE 12000 FEET. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
DIMINISH THIS EVENING...WITH ONLY A FEW SHOWERS LINGERING ALONG
THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL DIVIDE AFTER MIDNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

AFTER A DRIER DAY ON SUNDAY...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON ON MONDAY AND
TUESDAY...FAVORING THE MOUNTAINS. DRIER CONDITIONS WILL FOLLOW FOR
THE REMAINDER OF THE WORK WEEK WITH ONLY A FEW MOUNTAIN
THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED EACH AFTERNOON.

THUNDERSTORMS... MOVING INTO THE INTERSTATE 70 CORRIDOR FROM THE
GRAND VALLEY AND DEBEQUE CANYON. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 25
MPH. EXPECT MODERATE RAIN SHOWERS AND WIND GUST TO 30 MPH.

THESE STORMS WILL BE NEAR...  RIFLE AND GRAND JUNCTION AROUND 1150
AM MDT... SILT AND NEW CASTLE AROUND 1210 PM MDT.

OTHER LOCATIONS IMPACTED BY THESE STORMS INCLUDE BATTLEMENT MESA AND
REDLANDS.
