THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS
EVENING...MAINLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 160.
THE MAIN THREATS FROM ANY STORMS WILL BE LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS
TO 45 MPH. SPOTTY ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW UP TO 1 INCH WILL BE
POSSIBLE ABOVE 10000 FEET.

AREAS OF BLOWING DUST WILL BE FOUND THIS AFTERNOON OVER THE PLAINS
EAST OF LA JUNTA. VISIBILITIES MAY DROP TO 3 TO 5 MILES AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

ISOLATED AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
MONDAY IN AND NEAR THE MOUNTAINS...ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50.
THE MAIN THREATS FROM ANY STORMS WILL BE LIGHTNING AND GUSTY
WINDS UP TO 45 MPH.

ON WEDNESDAY...FIRE DANGER MAY REACH CRITICAL LEVELS OVER EASTERN
COLORADO...AS WINDS INCREASE AND HUMIDITIES DROP AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING COLD FRONT.

A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WITH
A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH FRIDAY...ESPECIALLY
OVER THE MOUNTAINS. SCATTERED LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
POSSIBLE...WITH SNOW LEVELS STARTING OUT AROUND 8000 FEET LATE
WEDNESDAY BUT LOWERING TO AROUND 5000 FEET BY LATE FRIDAY.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL
BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ABOVE 10000 FEET.
