THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAIN
AND HIGH VALLEY AREAS...FROM LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH THE EVENING.
ISOLATED STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE INTERSTATE 25
CORRIDOR AND SOUTHEAST PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.  THE
PRIMARY STORM THREATS WILL BE LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS OF AROUND 40
MPH AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.  SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS WILL ALSO
BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL AROUND 1/2 INCH IN DIAMETER.

OVERNIGHT...THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME ISOLATED STORMS
OVER THE SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS...THE SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO
MOUNTAINS AND THE SOUTHERN SAN LUIS VALLEY. THE PRIMARY STORM
THREATS WILL BE LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
AREA ON SATURDAY...WITH THE BEST COVERAGE OF STORMS OVER AND NEAR
THE HIGHER TERRAIN. THE MAIN THREATS FROM THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
LIGHTING AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH...HOWEVER LOCALLY HEAVY
RAIN AND SMALL HAIL MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST
STORMS.

DRIER WESTERLY FLOW DEVELOPS ACROSS THE AREA FOR SUNDAY AND
MONDAY...BRINGING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY OVER THE MOUNTAINS. THE MAIN THREATS FROM
STORMS THAT CAN DEVELOP WILL BE LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS.

INCREASING MOISTURE AND A FEW PASSING DISTURBANCES WILL BRING BETTER
CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO ALL OF SOUTH CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST COLORADO TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...WITH THE BEST CHANCES
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. THE INCREASING MOISTURE WILL BRING THE THREAT
OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...ALONG WITH LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND
POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE  OVER SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO THIS
