THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN
ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHERN
COLORADO. THE OVERALL BEST CHANCE OF STORMS WILL BE OVER THE
MOUNTAINS...WITH THE BEST CHANCE OF FLASH FLOODING OVER AREA
BURN SCARS...URBAN AREAS AND AREAS THAT HAVE RECEIVED ABUNDANT
PRECIPITATION OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS.

IN ADDITION TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN...THE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO 45
MPH...WITH SMALL HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF DIMES ALSO BE POSSIBLE
WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...THE MONSOON MOISTURE PLUME WILL REMAIN
OVER COLORADO BRINGING SCATTERED AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS.
PRIMARY STORM THREATS WILL BE LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 50
MPH...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL. HOWEVER...A FEW STORMS
COULD PRODUCE 60 MPH WINDS...1 INCH DIAMETER HAIL AND FLASH FLOODING.
BURN SCARS AND URBAN AREAS WILL SEE THE GREATEST THREAT OF FLASH
FLOODING.

SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...A PACIFIC WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE NORTHERN ROCKIES AND PUSH THE MONSOON MOISTURE PLUME
EAST OF COLORADO. AS A RESULT...THE CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON AND
EVENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL DECREASE. PRIMARY STORM THREATS
BEGINNING SATURDAY WILL MAINLY BE LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS TO
AROUND 50 MPH.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER MOST OF SOUTH CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST COLORADO.
