AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST. PERIODS OF
LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE TODAY AND THEN DIMINISH LATER
THIS EVENING. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED TODAY WITH STORM TOTAL SNOW AMOUNTS FROM 6 TO 11 INCHES.
STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH WILL CREATE AREAS
OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY ACROSS OPEN AREAS AND
RIDGE TOPS. TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

...SNOW CONTINUES...DIFFICULT TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL TODAY...

.SNOW CONTINUES THIS MORNING ALONG WITH GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS
PRODUCING AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
SO FAR HAVE RANGED FROM 2 TO 3.5 INCHES NEAR THE INTERSTATE 90
CORRIDOR TO 4 TO 7 INCHES ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA. LAW
ENFORCEMENT ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA HAS REPORTED DIFFICULT TRAVEL ON
EAST TO WEST ROADS DUE TO DRIFTING SNOW. ROADS ARE SNOW COVERED
AND SLIPPERY THIS MORNING. SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS WITH DIFFICULT TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL EXPECTED. STORM TOTALS OF
3 TO 6 INCHES ARE EXPECTED NEAR THE INTERSTATE 90 CORRIDOR WITH 6
TO 11 INCHES EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA INTO FAR SOUTHWEST
WISCONSIN.
