ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED OVER MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA THIS
EVENING THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...ALONG WITH DRIZZLE AND LIGHT RAIN.
VISIBILITIES MAY BE AS LOW AS A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

COLDER AIR MOVING INTO THE AREA WILL CHANGE THE RAIN OVER TO
WET SNOW LATE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING...WITH A BRIEF PERIOD OF
SLEET POSSIBLE AS WELL. LITTLE SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED
DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MONDAY...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF EASTERN IOWA
AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS FOR MUCH OF THE DAY. SNOW WILL BE
ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG WEST WINDS. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4
INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS EXPECTED OVER FAR
EAST CENTRAL IOWA INTO FAR NORTHWEST ILLINOIS. SNOW AMOUNTS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN 1 INCH SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 34. WINDS
GUSTING UP TO 40 MPH WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF DRIFTING SNOW AND
POOR VISIBILITY. PLEASE SEE THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WINTER
WEATHER MESSAGE FOR MORE COMPLETE AND UP TO DATE INFORMATION.

LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY...A CLIPPER SYSTEM COULD
BRING MORE ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE AREA...POTENTIALLY IMPACTING
TRAVEL AHEAD OF THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

FOG WILL CONTINUE TO THICKEN OVER EASTERN IOWA...FAR NORTHEAST
MISSOURI...AND FAR NORTHWEST ILLINOIS EARLY THIS EVENING.
VISIBILITIES OF LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE CAN BE EXPECTED.
CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE FROM WEST TO EAST BETWEEN 8 AND 10 PM AS
STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS FOLLOWING A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THE FOG OUT
OF THE REGION.
