THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS AND EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE WILL CHANGE TO LIGHT RAIN
FROM SOUTH TO NORTH THIS MORNING WITH ALL AREAS SEEING LIGHT RAIN
OR DRIZZLE THIS AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES MODERATE INTO THE UPPER
30S TO LOWER 40S. UNTIL THEN...LOOK FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS
TO CONTINUE UNTIL MID TO LATE MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL INVADE THE AREA AGAIN WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WITH
EARLY MORNING WIND CHILLS EXPECTED TO DROP TO BETWEEN 10 BELOW AND
20 BELOW ZERO THURSDAY MORNING.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS
MORNING.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY
  MORNING...ESPECIALLY NORTH OF THE I-72 CORRIDOR. THE THREAT
  WILL DIMINISH BETWEEN 8 AM AND 10 AM...AS TEMPERATURES STEADILY
  RISE ABOVE FREEZING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS AROUND A TENTH OF AN
  INCH ARE ANTICIPATED NORTH OF I-72. AREAS SOUTH OF I-72 WILL SEE
  A LIGHT GLAZE.

* IMPACTS...THE GLAZE CAUSED BY THE FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE VERY
  SLIPPERY TRAVEL CONDITIONS ON UNTREATED SURFACES. THE ICE IS NOT
  EXPECTED TO BE SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO IMPACT TREES OR POWER
  LINES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SLEET OR FREEZING
RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY
ROADS AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
