THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A DISTURBANCE CURRENTLY OVER NORTHWEST MISSOURI WILL TRACK
EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON...TRIGGERING SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS. DUE TO INCREASING INSTABILITY AND WIND SHEAR...SOME
OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE. THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...HOWEVER ISOLATED
TORNADOES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THE TIME FRAME FOR POTENTIAL
SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE BETWEEN 2 PM AND 8 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD BACK INTO THE AREA BY FRIDAY
EVENING...AND WILL BE MOST NUMEROUS THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.
PERIODS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND INTO
THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK AS WELL. THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD
SEVERE WEATHER IS LOW.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATER TODAY...PRIMARILY BETWEEN
2 PM AND 8 PM.
