THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TODAY. ISOLATED
FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS...STREAMS AND POOR DRAINING URBAN
AREAS WILL BE POSSIBLE. THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE INTO THIS
EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE AT TIMES FROM MONDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY...MAINLY DURING EACH AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SOME OF THE
THUNDERSTORMS ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING COULD BECOME STRONG
AND PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY...SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND
  SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN EAST
  CENTRAL KENTUCKY...BATH...ELLIOTT...ESTILL...FLEMING...
  MENIFEE...MONTGOMERY...POWELL AND ROWAN. IN SOUTH CENTRAL
  KENTUCKY...LAUREL...MCCREARY...PULASKI...ROCKCASTLE...WAYNE
  AND WHITLEY. IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY...CLAY...JACKSON...KNOX...
  LEE...MORGAN...OWSLEY AND WOLFE.

* THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON

* AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL INTERACT WITH ABUNDANT MOISTURE IN
  PLACE OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN KENTUCKY AND BRING PERIODS OF
  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
  BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. IN MUCH OF THE
  WATCH AREA...THE GROUND IS SATURATED FROM RECENT HEAVY RAIN.
  ADDITIONAL PERIODS OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO ISOLATED
  FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS AND POOR DRAINING URBAN
  AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION...
ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
