  Grand River At Lowell affecting Kent COUNTY
  Grand River Near Comstock Park affecting Kent COUNTY
  Grand River At Grand Rapids affecting Kent COUNTY
  Sycamore Creek At Holt affecting Ingham COUNTY
  Looking Glass River Near Eagle affecting Clinton COUNTY
  Maple River At Maple Rapids affecting Clinton COUNTY
  Thornapple River Above Hastings affecting Barry COUNTY

.Any rain this weekend should be light.  Water levels will remain high
for the next couple of days at these sites.  The following forecast is
based on observed
and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

A flood advisory means minor flooding is possible and rivers are
forecast to exceed bankfull.  If you are in the advisory area remain
alert to possible flooding...or the possibility of the advisory being
upgraded to a warning.  Report observed flooding to local emergency
services or law enforcement and request they pass this information on
to the National Weather Service.

  the Grand River At Grand Rapids
* UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
* at 10 PM Friday the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast, the river will rise to near 12.4 feet by Wednesday
  morning.
* Impact, at 12.0 feet...River is bankfull upstream and downstream of
  flood walls in Downtown Grand Rapids. Portions of the Kent Trail
  and Indian Mounds Drive flooded in Grandville.

VISIBILITIES OF ONE-QUARTER MILE OR LESS WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

HIGH WATER LEVELS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT AS A RESULT OF
THE RECENT RAINFALL AND ICE IN THE RIVERS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. FOG WILL RESULT IN
VISIBILITIES OF ONE-QUARTER MILE OR LESS MAKING DRIVING HAZARDOUS
AT TIMES. FOG IS EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY DISSIPIATE THROUGH MID
MORNING.

RIVER WATER LEVELS WILL REMAIN ELEVATED DURING THE PERIOD. A RISK
FOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL INTO WEDNESDAY COULD
CAUSE AN INCREASE IN THE IMPACTS.
