AN INCH OR LESS FOR MOST AREAS BY LATE TONIGHT.

...THANKSGIVING NIGHT SNOWFALL POTENTIAL AND WINTRY WEEKEND...

A BAND OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THURSDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS
CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. AS IT MOVES TO THE EAST DURING THE EVENING A
QUICK BURST OF INTENSE SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE 2 TO 4
INCHES OF SNOW. THE SNOW BAND WILL EXIT THE AREA EARLY AND QUICKLY
FRIDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL BE LIGHT FRIDAY WITH MINIMAL BLOWING SNOW
ISSUES. HOWEVER AN ARCTIC FRONT IS EXPECTED ON SATURDAY AND
INCREASING WIND SPEEDS ARE LIKELY TO PRODUCE SOME BLOWING SNOW
ALONG WITH BITTER WIND CHILLS FOR THE LATTER HALF OF THE HOLIDAY
WEEKEND.
