THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA...WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A THIN BAND OF LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE POSSIBLY MIXED WITH A LITTLE
LIGHT SNOW WILL MOVE THROUGH EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA THIS EVENING.
THIS BAND WILL STRENGTHEN A LITTLE AS IT MOVES INTO NORTHWEST
MINNESOTA. A DUSTING TO AN INCH OR SO OF LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE
AROUND THE LAKE OF THE WOODS AND THE UPPER AND LOWER RED LAKES.
FOG WILL REMAIN OVER THE AREA AS WELL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A STRONGER SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP MONDAY INTO TUESDAY OF EARLY NEXT
WEEK WHICH WILL LIKELY BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO PARTS OF THE
REGION. AT THIS TIME SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW LOOK POSSIBLE ACROSS
EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA INTO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF MINNESOTA. FOR
THOSE PLANNING HOLIDAY TRAVEL STAY TUNED FOR LATER STATEMENTS ON
THIS UPCOMING WEATHER SYSTEM.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY AS A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS. BANDS OF SNOW
WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND
WESTERN MINNESOTA INTO TUESDAY...AS THE SYSTEM SLOWLY SHIFTS
SOUTHEASTWARD. WHILE THERE IS SOME UNCERTAINTY WHERE THE MOST
PERSISTENT SNOW BANDS WILL DEVELOP...PARTS OF THE REGION MAY RECEIVE
3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOWFALL BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. NORTHERLY WINDS MAY BECOME GUSTY BY MONDAY
AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE RED
RIVER VALLEY...WHICH COULD RESULT IN SOME DRIFTING OF SNOW. PLEASE
STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST FORECASTS...ESPECIALLY IF PLANNING TO
TRAVEL EARLY THIS WEEK.
