THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE COMBINATION OF LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND AT TIMES GUSTY WINDS
WILL CAUSE AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT OVER PARTS OF THE
NORTHLAND TODAY. THE MAIN AREA OF CONCERN IS THE IRON RANGE AND
ELY AREAS...AS WELL AS INTERIOR AREAS OF THE ARROWHEAD WELL INLAND
FROM LAKE SUPERIOR. THIS AREA OF NORTHEAST MINNESOTA IS FORECAST
TO HAVE AFTERNOON SUSTAINED WINDS AROUND 10 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
AROUND 20 MPH AND MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY AROUND 20 PERCENT.
ANOTHER AREA OF CONCERN IS NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...PRIMARILY AREAS
SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 2 DUE TO MORE HUMID CONDITIONS NEAR LAKE
SUPERIOR. THE AREAS OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 2 ARE
FORECAST TO HAVE SUSTAINED WINDS AROUND 10 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO
AROUND 15 MPH DURING THE AFTERNOON WITH MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY
AROUND 25 PERCENT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SOME SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE FROM SUNDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY.
AT THIS POINT...IT LOOKS LIKE THERE COULD BE A COUPLE INCHES OF
WET SNOW...ESPECIALLY OVER NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION. THERE
COULD BE AS MUCH AS 4 INCHES OF SNOW...PARTICULARLY FROM NORTH
CENTRAL MINNESOTA INTO THE ARROWHEAD...ALTHOUGH THAT WILL COME IN
THE PERIOD FROM SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY...AND THERE WILL BE
SOME DAYTIME MELTING THAT OCCURS EACH DAY AS WELL.
