.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED STARTING IN FAR WESTERN
MINNESOTA LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUING EASTWARD THROUGH
TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE COVERAGE AREA. THERE IS
A MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL AND
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA. HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE WHICH MAY
PROLONG THE RISK OF FLOODING.

  CLOSURES CONTINUE AREA WIDE.

* AN ADDITIONAL HALF TO ONE INCH OF RAINFALL TONIGHT COULD PROLONG
  THE RISK OF FLOODING.

MINNESOTA AND WISCONSIN TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. WHILE
RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE PARTICULARLY
IMPRESSIVE...SATURATED SOILS ARE NOT ABLE TO ABSORB MUCH WATER
WHICH WILL RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE RUNOFF. FLASH FLOODING IS
