...The flood warning continues for the following river in Illinois
and Missouri...

.This Flood Warning is a result of recent heavy rainfall and little
if any additional precipitation is forecast in the next 24 hours...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service will monitor this situation and issue
follow up statements as conditions or forecasts change.

Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at St. Louis
* until Wednesday.
* At 12 PM Thursday the stage was 37.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: The river is forecast to fall below flood stage Tuesday night.
* Impact: At 37.5 feet...Highway 61/67 south of Pevely begin flooding
  at the Joachim Creek bridge.

CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS
OVER SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS COULD BE STRONG TO
SEVERE AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND
HEAVY RAINFALL.

POINTS ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO BE IN MAJOR
FLOOD THROUGH AT LEAST THE 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
