...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT FOR
EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA...WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE MONTANA AND NORTH DAKOTA
BORDER LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING AND THEN BEING TO
MOVE EAST TONIGHT. WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS ARE LIKELY IN WESTERN
NORTH DAKOTA BUT WILL LIKELY BECOME MORE ISOLATED IN TERMS OF
SEVERE WEATHER AS THEY MOVE INTO EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA OVERNIGHT.
WIND IS THE MAIN THREAT. APPROXIMATE TIMING WOULD BRING BEST
CHANCES FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH STRONG WINDS TO THE DEVILS
LAKE BASIN 1 AM TO 4 AM....THE RED RIVER VALLEY 3 AM TO 6 AM AND
THEN NORTHWESTERN AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA 5 AM TO 8 AM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIT NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA TUESDAY
MORNING. THEN WINDS WILL INCREASE FROM THE SOUTHWEST AND INCREASE
TO 25 TO 35 MPH TUESDAY AFTERNOON IN EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA. WINDY
INTO TUESDAY EVENING AS WELL IN EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA BEFORE WINDS
DIMINISH. FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK....GENERALLY DRY WEATHER.
