THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA...WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW OR A WINTRY MIX WILL DEVELOP ACROSS WESTERN
AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION LATE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SNOW WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD MONDAY AS AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
DEEPENS OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS. ACROSS THE SOUTH PRECIPITATION
COULD START OUT AS A MIX BEFORE CHANGING TO ALL SNOW BY MONDAY
EVENING. LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY ENDING
TUESDAY EVENING. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS. NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE
TO 15 TO 25 MPH MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY WHICH COULD CAUSE AREAS
OF DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY AS A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS. BANDS OF SNOW
WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND
WESTERN MINNESOTA INTO TUESDAY...AS THE SYSTEM SLOWLY SHIFTS
SOUTHEASTWARD. WHILE THERE IS SOME UNCERTAINTY WHERE THE MOST
PERSISTENT SNOW BANDS WILL DEVELOP...PARTS OF THE REGION MAY RECEIVE
3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOWFALL BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. NORTHERLY WINDS MAY BECOME GUSTY BY MONDAY
AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE RED
RIVER VALLEY...WHICH COULD RESULT IN SOME DRIFTING OF SNOW. PLEASE
STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST FORECASTS...ESPECIALLY IF PLANNING TO
