...The Flood Advisory continues for the South Platte River...
  South Platte River at North Platte affecting Lincoln County

.Rainfall overnight will continue to create more runoff that will
move downstream on the South Platte River. A flood advisory
continues at North Platte on the South Platte River. The river will
rise to near 12.6 feet with high flows until further notice.

FLOOD STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE
1111 AM CDT MON MAY 25 2015

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

  Platte River at Brady North Channel affecting Lincoln County.

.Recent very heavy rain across northeast Colorado and the southern
panhandle of Nebraska is combining with high water from above
normal Rocky Mountain snow melt to create flooding along the South
Platte River and Platte River. Heavy rainfall the past two days has
caused the forecast to rise. The latest crest forecast for Brady
North Channel is now at 8.8 feet which is very similar to the 8.8
feet crest earlier this month.

Additional rainfall chances over the next week and above normal late
season snow pack in the upper reaches of the river basin will
continue to keep the flows high along the South Platte River in
southwest Nebraska through at least the beginning of June.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water
covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your
car to cross safely and the road beneath may not be intact. Vehicles
caught in rising waters should be abandoned quickly.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River at Brady North Channel.
* Until further notice.
* At 6:00 AM on Monday May 25 the stage was 8.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Forecast is for the river to rise and crest near 8.8 feet
  Friday into Saturday. The river will then slowly fall.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Moderate flood stage. West of Brady
  flooding occurs between McCullough Road and East Island Road
  and Interstate 80. East of Brady flooding of agricultural land
  occurs near Interstate 80. Both of the north channels may
  overflow.

Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska...

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued
* Flood Warning for
  The South Platte River at North Platte.
* At 10:45 AM Monday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast is for the river to rise above flood stage
  Wednesday and crest late Wednesday and Thursday at 13.1 feet. The
  river will then slowly fall.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Flood Stage. Flooding of yards and roads
  may occur around Hidden Lakes. Most of Iron Eagle Golf Course
  becomes submerged. Backwash may occur into sewer and storm drains
  in city of North Platte.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.3
  feet on May 18 2015.
