THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

RECENT HEAVY RAIN...COUPLED WITH SPRING SNOW MELT FROM THE
ROCKIES...HAS LED TO ELEVATED FLOWS IN THE PLATTE AND ELKHORN
RIVER SYSTEMS. AT THIS TIME...MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING ALONG
THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER AT LEWELLEN AND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

FORECAST RAIN THIS WEEKEND...ALONG WITH RUNOFF FROM SNOW MELT IN
THE ROCKIES...WILL LEAD TO ELEVATED RIVER FLOWS INTO NEXT WEEK.

BEGINNING FRIDAY NIGHT...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. AT THIS TIME...THE THREAT FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE
GREATEST SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY NIGHT ...MAINLY SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 80. AT THIS TIME...THE MAIN SEVERE THREAT IS LARGE HAIL

ADDITIONAL STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY ACROSS
SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA.
