NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE QUICKLY THROUGH THE NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL PLAINS LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT.
THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF RAIN OR FREEZING RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH
THE SYSTEM ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...ENDING AS
SNOW MONDAY NIGHT AS COLDER AIR MOVES SOUTH. NORTHWEST WIND WILL
INCREASE MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT.

THEN...A STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO CROSS THE CENTRAL AND
NORTHERN ROCKIES TOWARD THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK AND MAY IMPACT THE
CENTRAL PLAINS THURSDAY AND INTO FRIDAY NEXT WEEK. SOME SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA CHRISTMAS DAY AND INTO FRIDAY....HOWEVER THE TRACK OF
THE SYSTEM IS STILL IN QUESTION. THOSE PLANNING TRAVEL ACROSS
NEBRASKA NEXT WEEK SHOULD KEEP UP TO DATE WITH THE LATEST
FORECASTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
