THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING...A STIFF SOUTH OR
SOUTHEAST WIND...SUSTAINED AT 25 TO NEAR 30 MPH AND ACCOMPANIED BY
GUSTS NEAR 35 MPH...WILL BE OBSERVED ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA GENERALLY WEST OF HIGHWAY 281.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON AFTER 4 PM...THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE OUTLOOK AREA ALONG A SLOW-MOVING COLD
FRONT. HOWEVER...BETTER CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS ARRIVE FOR
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY...WITH LINGERING CHANCES MAINLY EAST OF
HIGHWAY 281 ON SUNDAY NIGHT. ALTHOUGH WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS
NOT ANTICIPATED OVER THE WEEKEND...AT LEAST A FEW STRONG TO
MARGINALLY SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY DURING THE LATE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...AND PRIMARILY
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM ELWOOD...TO GRAND ISLAND...TO SILVER CREEK
NEBRASKA...INCLUDING NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS. THE MAIN THREATS WITH
ANY SEVERE STORMS WOULD BE HAIL TO AROUND QUARTER SIZE AND WIND
GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH.

LOOKING AHEAD...MORE CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS ARRIVE IN THE
OUTLOOK AREA DURING THE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY TIME FRAME.
