THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THIS MORNING MAY BE STRONG AT TIMES AND
PRODUCE NICKEL SIZE HAIL AND 40 MPH WINDS. THUNDERSTORMS ARE
FORECAST TO REDEVELOP THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT WITH THE BETTER
CHANCES FORECAST ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. CONDITIONS WILL
BE FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE STORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL OF
QUARTER SIZE OR GREATER AND DAMAGING WINDS OF 60 MPH.

FLOOD WARNINGS REMAIN ALONG PORTIONS OF THE PLATTE RIVER BETWEEN
GOTHENBURG AND CENTRAL CITY. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST FLOOD
STATEMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE IN THE FORECAST WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. SOME
SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE MOST LIKELY TIME FRAME BEING
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND INTO THE NIGHT.  DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE
HAIL WOULD BE THE PRIMARY THREATS...ALONG WITH HEAVY RAIN.

IN ADDITION...FLOOD WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT ALONG PORTIONS OF THE
PLATTE RIVER BETWEEN GOTHENBURG AND CENTRAL CITY. PLEASE REFER TO

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River Near Kearney.
* At  9:15 PM Monday the stage was near 7.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will remain near steady or fall slowly
  this week, but will continue to be in flood through at least
  Sunday, June 7th, if not well into mid-June.
* At 6.0 feet...Minor flooding of rural lowlands occur.
* At 8.0 feet...The Nebraska Youth Camp located 4 miles east of
Kearney will begin to flood.

  The Platte River Near Grand Island.
* At  9:15 PM Monday the stage was 6.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river should level off near 6.7 feet tonight
  and stay steady through Tuesday evening, then slowly fall
  over the next few days. The river is forecast to drop below
  flood stage by early Saturday morning.
* at 6.5 feet...Rural farms and pasturelands flood.
