The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River Near Kearney.
* At 10:15 AM Monday the stage was 6.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will linger around 6.8 feet today and
  gradually fall to around 6.5 feet by the end of the upcoming
  week. The river will remain in flood for the foreseeable future
  at this gauge site. This forecast is based largely on water
  which is already in the Platte River Basin...and not on
  anticipated rain events in the future. Should substantially
  more rain fall in the basin...crest and stage forecasts will
  be adjusted as needed.
* At 6.0 feet...Minor flooding of rural lowlands occur. Persons
  with property interests along the river should continue to
  monitor forecasts on a daily for changes.

* Forecast...The river will hold steady around 6.5 feet
  before starting a slow drop by mid week. This forecast is based
  largely on water which is already in the Platte River Basin...
  and not on anticipated rain events in the future. Should
  substantially more rain fall in the basin...crest and stage
  forecasts will be adjusted as needed.
* At 6.5 feet...Rural farm and pasture land flood. Persons
  with property interests along the river should continue to
  monitor forecasts on a daily basis for changes.

PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA AT ONE
POINT OR ANOTHER TODAY. LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...STRONG
AND EVEN ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH
THE FOCUS OF THE STRONGEST STORMS EXPECTED TO BE NEAR OR EAST OF
HIGHWAY 281. LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS GUSTS...AND EVEN AND
ISOLATED TORNADO WILL ALL BE POSSIBLE.

FLOOD WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT ALONG PARTS OF THE PLATTE RIVER
BETWEEN GOTHENBURG AND THE CENTRAL CITY AREA. PLEASE REFER TO THE
LATEST FLOOD WARNING STATEMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER TUESDAY MORNING ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE
FROM ORD TO RED CLOUD IN NEBRASKA TO BELOIT KANSAS. THUNDERSTORMS
RETURN TO THE FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. SOME OF THE
STORMS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING MAY BE STRONG TO SEVERE.

FLOOD WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT ALONG PARTS OF THE PLATTE RIVER BETWEEN
GOTHENBURG AND THE CENTRAL CITY AREA. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST
