FAR NORTHEAST WISCONSIN TODAY DUE TO SNOW AND GUSTY NORTH WINDS.
THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS...AND POOREST TRAVEL
CONDITIONS...ARE LIKELY TO OCCUR IN THE SNOWBELT OF VILAS COUNTY.

WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...WITH THE STRONGEST
WINDS OCCURRING IN EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN. THE WIND COULD MAKE
DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES DIFFICULT.

WILL CONTINUE TO GENERATE STRONG WINDS TODAY. THE NORTH WINDS
WILL BRING A MUCH COLDER CANADIAN AIR MASS INTO THE REGION.

* STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE TODAY.

* OVER DOOR COUNTY...SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF 25 TO 40 MPH AND
  GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED. THE HIGHEST GUSTS ARE
  EXPECTED ALONG THE SHORE OF THE BAY FROM WASHINGTON ISLAND TO
  FISH CREEK.

* ACROSS THE REST OF EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN...SUSTAINED WIND
  SPEEDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED...WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50
  MPH. THE HIGHEST GUSTS ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE SHORE OF THE BAY
  OF GREEN BAY AND NEAR THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE.

* THE STRONG WIND WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FOR
  MOTORISTS WITH HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES MAY
  EXPERIENCE LOCALLY HIGHER GUSTS. ADDITIONAL POWER OUTAGES MAY
  OCCUR.
