.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR MUCH OF THE AREA.

ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVES IN OVERNIGHT.
HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE. WITH GROUNDS SATURATED AND UNABLE TO TAKE ANY
MORE MOISTURE...ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUNOFF INTO ALREADY HIGH
RIVERS AND STREAMS...AND COULD RESULT IN MORE FLASH FLOODING. ROCK
AND MUD SLIDES ALSO POSSIBLE IN HILLY TERRAIN. NEVER CROSS A
FLOODED ROADWAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS CONTINUE SUNDAY...WITH A LOCALLY

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Black River Near Galesville.
* until Tuesday morning...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  8:45 PM Saturday the stage was 14.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...and drop below flood
  stage Monday.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Flooding mainly impacts wildlands and
  agricultural pasture land. However the approach to the south end of
  the County Road VV Bridge over the Black River may be flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River At La Crosse.
* from Sunday evening to Wednesday morning...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  9:15 PM Saturday the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Sunday evening and continue
  to rise to near 12.1 feet Monday. The river will fall below flood
  stage Tuesday.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Pettibone Campground and RV Park is flooded.
  Road access to the north end of the Shore Acres development is
  impacted by flooding. Some lowland flooding occurs in other areas
  near the river.

...MORE RAIN INTO SUNDAY...MORE FLOODING POSSIBLE...

.SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO WORK THROUGH THE
AREA OVERNIGHT AND INTO EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON...WITH ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE-QUARTER TO AS MUCH AS ONE INCH
EXPECTED. WHILE THESE AMOUNTS WOULD NOT NORMALLY BE A
CONCERN...GROUNDS ARE SO SATURATED FROM RECENT RAINS THAT EVEN A
QUICK INCH OF RAIN WOULD CAUSE MORE RISES ON RIVERS AND
STREAMS...ALONG WITH A THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING. MUD OR ROCK
SLIDES ARE POSSIBLE IN HILLY TERRAIN IF ANY HEAVY RAIN SETS UP.

THOSE THAT LIVE IN AREAS HIT HARD BY RECENT RAINS...OR NEAR
RIVERS AND STREAMS ALREADY RUNNING HIGH...SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY
ALERT FOR MORE RAIN AND THE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL FLOODING.

* FROM MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

* ANOTHER 1/4 TO 1 INCH OF RAIN IS EXPECTED FROM LATE TONIGHT
  THROUGH SUNDAY.

* GROUNDS ARE SATURATED AND CANNOT HANDLE ANY MORE RAINFALL. ANY
  ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUNOFF INTO RIVERS AND STREAMS...AND COULD
  RESULT IN MORE FLASH FLOODING. ROCK AND MUD SLIDES ARE ALSO
  POSSIBLE IN HILLY TERRAIN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
