...STRONG WINTER STORM TO IMPACT SOUTHERN WISCONSIN THROUGH
TONIGHT...

.SNOW WILL BE STEADY...AND AT TIMES MODERATE TO HEAVY...THROUGH
THIS EVENING AS LOW PRESSURE MOVES FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS TO THE
OHIO RIVER VALLEY. WHILE SNOW INTENSITY WILL DECREASE FROM WEST
TO EAST OVERNIGHT...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL ENHANCE SNOWFALL TOTALS
OVER FAR EASTERN WISCONSIN. IN ADDITION... CONSIDERABLE BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN...ESPECIALLY NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN WHERE BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR AT TIMES AS WINDS GUST TO 35 MPH.

THE HIGHEST SNOW TOTALS WILL BE FOUND IN FAR EASTERN WISCONSIN
AND FAR SOUTHERN WISCONSIN.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL ACCCUMULATI0NS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES.
  STORM TOTALS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 TO 35 MPH.
  WIND GUSTS HIGHER AT TIMES NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW. VISIBILITIES REDUCED TO 1/2 MILE OR MUCH LESS
  AT TIMES.

LEAD TO LOW VISIBILITY WITH BRIEF WHITEOUT CONDITIONS. ONLY

A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MIDNIGHT FOR RACINE
AND KENOSHA COUNTIES...WITH A WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FOR
THE SOUTH HALVES OF SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AS WELL
AS SHEBOYGAN AND OZAUKEE COUNTIES. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE
IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF SOUTHERN WISCONSIN.

THE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW BANDS WILL GRADUALLY END FROM WEST TO
EAST DURING THE EVENING WHILE THE WINDY CONDITIONS AND BLOWING
SNOW WILL CONTINUE. THUS WHITEOUT CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE AT
TIMES ESPECIALLY OVER FAR SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN AND NEAR LAKE
MICHIGAN.

NORTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BRING ARCTIC AIR TO THE AREA WITH
WIND CHILLS IN THE TEENS BELOW ZERO FOR LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY
MORNING.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES AROUND 20 BELOW ZERO ARE EXPECTED LATE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING AS NORTHWEST WINDS BRING
ANOTHER ROUND OF ARCTIC AIR TO THE REGION. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL
BE IN THE TEENS BELOW ZERO FOR THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY
MORNING.
