THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN...SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TODAY FOR MOST OF SOUTHEAST AND A
PORTION OF SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN DUE TO THE PROLONGED 4 DAY
PERIOD WITH HIGHEST HEAT INDEX VALUES OVER 95. HEAT INDEX VALUES
WILL AGAIN REACH THE MIDDLE 90S TO AROUND 100 DURING THE AFTERNOON
HOURS AND POSSIBLY UP TO 103 IN THE FAR SOUTHEAST.

THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST
AND PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND
LARGE HAIL THE PRIMARY RISK. A COLD FRONT WILL BRING THE CHANCE
OF ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT INTO THE AFTERNOON.

MANY LOCATIONS WILL SEE HIGH HEAT INDICES FOR THE FOURTH STRAIGHT
DAY...SO THE HEAT ADVISORY HAS BEEN KEPT ACROSS PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN WHERE HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL
AGAIN RANGE FROM 95 TO 100. HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE FAR

* TIMING...THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

* TEMPERATURE...HIGHS IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOW 90S THIS AFTERNOON WITH
  HEAT INDEX VALUES REACHING 95 TO 104. THE HIGHEST HEAT INDEX
  VALUES WILL BE IN THE SOUTHEAST. THIS WILL MAKE 4 CONSECUTIVE
  DAYS WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES OVER 95.

* IMPACTS...A HEIGHTENED RISK OF HEAT RELATED ILLNESS IS
  POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WORKING OUTDOORS OR THOSE
  WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING. PEOPLE ON CERTAIN MEDICATIONS WILL
  BE MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE HEAT...AND SHOULD TAKE EXTRA
  PRECAUTIONS TO REMAIN COOL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HEAT ADVISORY MEANS THAT A PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS
EXPECTED. THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND HIGH HUMIDITY
WILL COMBINE TO CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE
POSSIBLE. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED
ROOM...STAY OUT OF THE SUN...AND CHECK UP ON RELATIVES AND
NEIGHBORS.

TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS...IF YOU WORK OR SPEND TIME OUTSIDE. WHEN
POSSIBLE...RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO EARLY MORNING OR
EVENING. KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT
