...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR CENTRAL FREMONT COUNTY
UNTIL 930 PM MDT...

AT 449 PM MDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT FLASH
FLOODING WAS OCCURRING ALONG THE LITTLE POPO AGIE RIVER AND TWIN
CREEK IN LYONS VALLEY BETWEEN RED CANYON AND HUDSON.  FLOOD WATER
HAD SURROUNDED SOME HOMES IN LYONS VALLEY AND WATER CONTINUED
TO RISE. RAINFALL OF 2 INCHES HAS FALLEN AND AN ADDITIONAL 1.5 TO 2
INCHES IS POSSIBLE.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...HWY JCT 287
AND 28 AND U.S. HWY 287 MILE MARKER 70.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...
POPO AGIE RIVER...LITTLE POPO AGIE RIVER...GOVERNMENT DRAW...IIAMS
CREEK...WILLOW CREEK...TWIN CREEK...GRANT YOUNG DITCH...MONUMENT
DRAW...TONYS GULCH AND BEASON CREEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES... AS WELL AS
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.

REPORT FLOODING TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY SO THAT THEY
MAY TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO CLOSE FLOODED ROADWAYS. THEY WILL
RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON.

COMBINE WITH AREAS OF POTENTIAL HEAVY RAIN ACROSS JOHNSON...
NATRONA...FREMONT...HOT SPRINGS...WASHAKIE AND EASTERN SWEETWATER
COUNTIES THROUGH THIS EVENING. THE THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING WILL
BE ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND IRRIGATION CANALS IN AND NEAR THE
FOOTHILLS OF THE BIGHORN...OWL CREEK AND WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS...
AS WELL AS CASPER MOUNTAIN AND THE GREEN AND RATTLESNAKE
MOUNTAINS. A STRONG SPRING STORM WILL PRODUCE CONDITIONS
FAVORABLE FOR PROLONGED HEAVY RAIN WITH RAINFALL RATES OF AN INCH
TO AN INCH AND A HALF AN HOUR WITH TOTAL RAINFALL OF 2 TO

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* A PORTION OF CENTRAL WYOMING...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
   UPPER WIND RIVER BASIN AND WIND RIVER BASIN.

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* SATURATED TO NEAR SATURATED SOILS FROM RECENT RAINFALL WILL
  COMBINE WITH AREAS OF POTENTIAL HEAVY RAIN ACROSS FREMONT COUNTY
  THROUGH LATE TONIGHT. THE THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING WILL BE
