630 PM MDT...

WEAK SHOWERS MOVING OFF THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS PRODUCED A 61 MPH
WIND GUST AROUND 5 PM...AT THE LANDER AIRPORT.

THROUGH 630 PM...OUTFLOW WIND GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH...WITH ISOLATED
HIGHER GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH...COULD OCCUR WITH ANY SHOWER ACTIVITY
MOVING OFF THE EASTERN SLOPES OF THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS...INTO THE
LANDER FOOTHILLS...OR IN THE VICINITY OF SOUTH PASS TO THE BEAVER
RIM AREA.

THESE WIND GUSTS WILL NOT BE ACCOMPANIED BY ANY LIGHTNING AND WITH
VERY LITTLE RAINFALL. LIGHT-WEIGHT OUTDOOR ITEMS...SUCH AS EMPTY
TRASH CANS AND PATIO FURNITURE...THAT ARE NOT SECURED MAY BE LIFTED

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG WEST WINDS WILL OCCUR IN MANY AREAS AS A COLD FRONT SWEEPS
EAST ACROSS THE AREA INTO THE EARLY EVENING. EXPECT WEST WIND 25 TO
35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS OVER 55 MPH FOR A
FEW HOURS THIS AFTERNOON. THE COLD FRONT WILL ALSO BE ACCOMPANIED
BY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A THUNDERSTORM...BUT MAINLY OVER THE EASTERN
PART OF THE BIGHORN BASIN OVER TO JOHNSON COUNTY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SATURDAY...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE NEAR AND
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80.

SUNDAY...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE SOUTH OF A MEETEETSE TO
CASPER LINE AND THE BIG HORN MOUNTAINS.

TUESDAY...INCREASING RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE WEST...
VERY WARM AND WINDY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH...MAY
RESULT IN RAPID SNOWMELT AND SIGNIFICANT RISES IN CREEKS AND STREAMS.
THESE WINDY AND WARM CONDITIONS IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH WILL ALSO
RESULT IN AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER.

WEDNESDAY...SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHERN
AND WESTERN MOUNTAINS.
