...HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IN THE SNOWY AND SIERRA MADRE
RANGES THROUGH TONIGHT WITH SNOW DEVELOPING OVER LARAMIE AND
SOUTHERN PLATTE COUNTIES IN ADDITION TO THE SUMMIT THIS EVENING...

.MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE IN THE
SNOWY AND SIERRA MADRE MOUNTAINS THROUGH TONIGHT BEFORE
DIMINISHING ON WEDNESDAY. SNOW WILL ALSO DEVELOP OVER THE SUMMIT
AND ACROSS SOUTHERN PLATTE COUNTY AND LARAMIE COUNTY THIS EVENING
AND WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. THIS INCLUDES THE INTERSTATE
25 CORRIDOR FROM WHEATLAND TO THE COLORADO STATE LINE...AND
INTERSTATE 80 FROM THE SUMMIT TO PINE BLUFFS.

WEDNESDAY...

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP THIS EVENING BEHIND A COLD FRONT
  DROPPING SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA AROUND SUNSET...AND WILL
  CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL INCREASE
  IN THE LATE MORNING WITH THE MAIN CONCERN THEN TURNING TO
  BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE FRESH SNOW THROUGH THE LATE
  MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTH WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS
  WILL OCCUR THIS EVENING AND WILL STEADILY DIMINISH OVERNIGHT.
  WEST WINDS WILL THEN INCREASE THROUGH THE LATE MORNING AND
  WILL BE 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH THROUGH THE
  AFTERNOON. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED AT TIMES TO ONE HALF
  MILE OR LESS DUE TO SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW THROUGH WEDNESDAY
  AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY
  WEDNESDAY MORNING DUE TO SLICK AND SNOWPACKED ROADS AND
  REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 FROM
  WHEATLAND TO THE COLORADO STATE LINE...INTERSTATE 80 FROM THE
  SUMMIT TO PINE BLUFFS...AND HIGHWAYS 85 AND 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT
VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND
BLOWING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN
AREAS AND WHEN APPROACHING AND DRIVING OVER RAILROAD CROSSINGS.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
WYOMING...SOUTH CENTRAL WYOMING AND SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A HIGH WIND EVENT IS FORECAST FOR MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING THIS
MORNING THROUGH EARLY TONIGHT. WIND GUSTS UP TO 65 MPH WILL BE
POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE WIND PRONE AREAS. A HIGH WIND
WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

A PERIOD OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY
MORNING. LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED...HOWEVER A
FEW LOCATIONS COULD SEE 3-4 INCHES IN BANDS OF HEAVIER SNOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE WINDY WEDNESDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE WIND PRONE AREAS WHERE GUSTS TO
50-55 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM TIME TO TIME.
