NEBRASKA...SOUTH CENTRAL WYOMING AND SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL OVER THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT. THE SNOW
MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES WITH SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS IN SOME
AREAS. VARIOUS WINTER ADVISORIES AND WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL SATURDAY BUT DECREASE DURING THE DAY.

...STORM SYSTEM TO AFFECT THE CENTRAL ROCKIES AND PLAINS TODAY
AND SATURDAY...

.ANOTHER PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS
THE CENTRAL ROCKY MOUNTAINS AND PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY.
SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND WESTERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE TODAY AND TONIGHT. WHILE SNOW IS EXPECTED
ACROSS THE REGION...WARM GROUND TEMPERATURES WILL LIMIT HIGH SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS. MINIMAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS INTO THE LOWER
ELEVATIONS SUCH AS THROUGH MUCH OF THE LOWER NORTH PLATTE RIVER
VALLEY.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHEYENNE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.

* TIMING...6 AM FRIDAY TO 6 PM SATURDAY.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL VARY GREATLY
  DEPENDING ON ELEVATION. UPWARDS OF 6 INCHES IS POSSIBLE ALONG
  HIGHER ELEVATIONS SUCH AS RIDGE TOPS. ON AVERAGE 4 TO 6 INCHES
  ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR FROM SIDNEY TO
  CHEYENNE.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTHEAST WIND AT 5 TO 15 MPH TODAY...THEN
  INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 MPH ON SATURDAY. VISIBILITIES BELOW ONE
  HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...MAINLY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES DUE TO LOW VISIBILITIES
  AND AREAS OF SLICK AND SNOWPACKED ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
