February 24, 2001 Snowstorm

A large winter storm dropped a narrow band of heavy snow on southern South Dakota Saturday, February 24th, 2001. After the snow, a period of 35 MPH winds were seen causing much blowing and drifting. The heaviest snow fell in Millboro, which is in Tripp County, SD. 12 inches of snow occurred there.
