November 2013 Climatic Summary
 
November temperatures across the entire region were very near average for the month. Lead and Custer were around 3 degrees above average for November. Spearfish, Winner, and Wright were about 1.5 degrees below normal for the month. 
 
Precipitation in November averaged around 50 percent of normal across the entire area.  Custer was near average with 0.57 inches of precipitation, but Dupree only received 0.03 inches of precipitation, which was only 6% of normal.
 
Snowfall averaged about 70% of normal across the area. Most locations across the plains received 2 to 5 inches of snow, while most locations across the Black Hills area into southwest portions of South Dakota received 4 to 8 inches of snow.
