Widespread rain fell over the Black Hills region Monday, August 29. A line of thunderstorms produced additional rain overnight.  Many locations in northeastern Wyoming and east of the Black Hills received at least 0.25 inches of rain. Northwestern and south central South Dakota reported less than 0.10 inches.  Some stations around the Black Hills measured over an inch of rain.  Daily records were set at the Rapid City Regional Airport, Downtown Rapid City NWS, Northwest Rapid City, Opal, 11N Porcupine, and Spearfish. A list of reports:
