September 20, 2011 High Winds across Western South Dakota and Northeastern Wyoming
A strong storm system moved across the northern Plains September 19-20, bringing high winds to the Black Hills region. Gusty winds developed behind a cold front that moved through the area during the night of Monday, September 19 and continued through the day Tuesday, September 20.
