January 13-14, 2014 Heavy Snow & High Winds

An Alberta Clipper storm tracked from southern Canada across the Dakotas, bringing heavy snow to parts of the Black Hills and strong wind gusts to the plains of western South Dakota January 13-14, 2014. The heaviest snow occurred on the western slopes of the Black Hills due to upslope west-northwest winds. Here are some snow and wind reports. Click for an interactive map.
