...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Dakota and Iowa...

  Vermillion River Near Wakonda
  Big Sioux River At Hawarden
  Big Sioux River At Akron
  Little Sioux River Near Milford
  Little Sioux River Above Spencer
  Little Sioux River At Spencer
  Little Sioux River At Cherokee
  Little Sioux River At Linn Grove

.The following river forecasts include forecast precipitation through
tonight. Any additional future rains could affect the crest
forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Do not drive cars through flooded areas. the water
depth and road condition may be unsafe.

  The Big Sioux River At Hawarden.
* until Thursday morning.
* At 09AM Wednesday the stage was 15.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Wednesday May 04.
* At stages near 15.0 feet...Agricultural flooding begins on the
South Dakota side of the river.

RIVER NEAR MILFORD...SPENCER...LINN GROVE...AND CHEROKEE. MINOR
TO MODERATE FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE VERMILLION RIVER
AROUND WAKONDA...AND THE BIG SIOUX RIVER NEAR HAWARDEN AND AKRON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING ON THE BIG SIOUX...LITTLE SIOUX AND
VERMILLION RIVERS WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DECREASE THROUGH THE
END OF THE WEEK.
