NORTH CAROLINA...WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON...WITH THE HIGHEST COVERAGE OVER THE
WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS. THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE CLOUD-
TO-GROUND LIGHTNING. ANYTHING THAT DEVELOPS WILL BE SLOW-
MOVING...SO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
THE PRIMARY HAZARDS FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL BE BRIEF
PERIODS OF FREQUENT LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.
THE BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NORTH OF A LINE
FROM BUCHANAN TO ATLANTA TO BRASELTON BETWEEN NOON AND 8 PM.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE IN EAST CENTRAL
GEORGIA LATE SATURDAY...WITH A BIT GREATER CHANCE SUNDAY IN THE
EAST AND FAR NORTH.

CHANCES GRADUALLY INCREASE ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA MONDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY WITH MIDWEEK LOOKING TO HAVE GREATER STORM
POTENTIAL AS INSTABILITY IS FORECAST TO INCREASE.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
THE PRIMARY HAZARDS FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.
