WEATHER SUMMARY:
AN UPPER LEVEL LOW DROPS SOUTH INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA LATE
WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY. THIS WILL BRING A THREAT OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS OVER ALL OF INTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, ESPECIALLY
TO THE MOUNTAINS. THE LOW SHIFTS TO THE EAST ON FRIDAY FOR THE
GREATEST THREAT OVER THE SIERRA AND SHASTA COUNTY MOUNTAINS.
PRECIPITATION IS SOMEWHAT LIMITED WITH THIS SYSTEM, SO AMOUNTS ARE
GENERALLY EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN HALF AN INCH, AND WILL BE
VARIABLE DUE TO CONVECTIVE NATURE OF SHOWERS. SNOW LEVELS WILL BE
AROUND 5500 FT, WITH LOCALLY LOWER LEVELS POSSIBLE IN HEAVIER
SHOWERS. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 6 INCHES POSSIBLE.
