LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY, AND MAY

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION...BRINGING RAIN
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA
TODAY AND TONIGHT. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

TONIGHT...THE PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY CHANGE OVER TO SNOW...OR A
MIX OF RAIN SNOW ALONG THE HIGHWAY 20 CORRIDOR. ACCUMULATIONS OF
AN INCH OR TWO OF WET SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE.

AREA RIVERS ARE EXPERIENCING FLOODING. PLEASE SEE THE LATEST
FLOOD STATEMENTS AND FLOOD WARNINGS FOR DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

ON WEDNESDAY...AS COLDER AIR SPREADS IN FROM WEST TO
EAST DURING THE MID TO LATE MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON...A
CHANGEOVER TO ALL SNOW IS EXPECTED FOR ALL OF EASTERN
IOWA...NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI...AND NORTHWESTERN ILLINOIS.

A DUSTING TO AN INCH OR TWO OF WET SNOW IS POSSIBLE. THE HIGHEST
AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY OCCUR NORTH OF HIGHWAY 30.

IN ADDITION TO THE SNOW...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE AND GUST
BETWEEN 30 TO 35 MPH CREATING VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS AND
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

LIGHT SNOW IS LIKELY ACROSS THE AREA WEDNESDAY NIGHT. A DUSTING
IS POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY NORTH OF I-88 IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS WHERE
AROUND AN INCH CANNOT BE RULED OUT.
