Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

Mild and wet weather will return to northern Michigan through the first half of the Christmas holiday week, with periods of rain also expected Monday night through Wednesday. That rain may begin as a period of freezing rain across inland areas of northern lower Michigan Monday night, and maybe even as a little snow for eastern upper. Chances for a big storm appear to be dwindling for Christmas Eve into Christmas Day, although some accumulating snow remains possible.
