Brisk and gusty west winds will produce some blowing and drifting of the snow through the noon hour. This could produce some slick spots and drifts, especially on north-south roads. Unseasonably cold air will remain across the region this week, with temperatures 10 to 20 degrees below normal. Wind chills today will be zero to -15. It feel even colder from late tonight through Thursday morning, with wind chills ranging from -10 to -30 F. Another light snow maker will move across Iowa tonight, bringing as much as 1 to 2 inches of snow fall to mainly northeast Iowa and nearby areas.
